The Diocese of Portland has arranged with the Maine Center for Disease Control and the VNA Home Health and Hospice to provide both "seasonal" and "H1N1" vaccinations free of charge for St. Thomas School students, PK to Grade 6.
On Wednesday, September 16th, a letter of explanation, some important information about flu vaccines and a permission slip will be sent home. THE PERMISSION SLIP MUST BE RETURNED BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th.
There will probably be at least 3 clinics provided in order to accomodate those who need to receive the vaccinations in 2 stages.
