PTO Meeting Minutes

May 23, 2007

 

 

The PTO Meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

 Opening prayer was said by Mr. Provost

 Secretary and treasurer reports were read and accepted

 Kim Shaw gave us the final tally of the SFF…$21,171.10**

The winner of the school tuition went to Luke Lapierre**

 

Next years PTO members will be….Patti Dumont as Co-President along with Kim Shaw (new to the board as Doris Coluni will be leaving us) , Joanne Langlais as secretary and Amy Dorion as treasurer.   

 Mr. Provost shared a few things with us:

The town has again approved appropriations for St. Thomas School; 

An Accreditation site committee is scheduled to come for 3 days in late October* more details to come in fall;

Mr. Provost voiced Fr. Nadeau’s concern that the level of participation in our Parish is not being met; 

 The Marketing Committee has put together a “Recoupment Package” that includes information about our school, to be sent to Parish families with small children.  

Joanne Cusack of the Development Council is looking for people to help with mailing these letters to all our cluster parishes…so if you are in need of more hours it is not too late!

 Spring Bottle Drive to be held Saturday 6/2/2007*
