Dear Catholic School Alumni,
The Friends of Catholic Education Committee
invites you to come home!
In 1987, over 500 alumni traveled back to
Sanford to celebrate their fond, parochial school years. We hope
you will accept our invitation to gather in a joyful reunion to
take place this fall, October 16, 2010.
Since our experience has been that alumni
enjoy most visiting with one another, we have planned a simple, if
meaningful, program for that day that will include the following:
9:00 am to noon (to 3:00 pm by request):
Visit to the Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum. Curator and
alumnus Gilles Auger will have Catholic education materials
displayed for viewing.
2:30 to 3:30 - Invitation to visit our high
school classrooms one last time
4:00 - Mass at St. Ignatius Church
5:30 - Social hour (crudités and cash bar) at
the Nasson Community Center, 457 Main Street, Springvale
6:30 - Full-course, catered buffet
dinner—salad/dressing, roasted red potatoes, roast beef, baked
bone less breast of turkey, buttered squash, green beans/almonds,
rolls, butter, lemon-minted water, coffee, tea, and assorted
desserts
Although you can expect a surprise or two
that day, we believe you will find this arrangement to be
comfortable in its allowance of discretionary time for you to join
classmates and/or school mates of whatever year.
