Giving Opportunities

To help keep tuition costs as low as possible, St. Thomas, like other independent schools, relies on other sources for operating revenue. This helps to broaden the responsibility for the school’s fiscal health, and as a not-for-profit institution, contributions provide tax advantages to donors. Our generous supporters typically include current and past parents, alumni, trustees, friends of the school, foundations and corporations. From time to time, we embark on capital campaigns to raise money for specific school improvements for its long-term financial health.

Please contact the office with any questions or concerns. The office can be reached via email at donna.jacques@portlanddiocese.org or by phone at (207)324-5832. Thank you.

We want to help you find the best place for your child to grow.

What sort of education do you want for your child? What sort of future do you want? It isn’t easy to answer those questions, but the answers really matter. And the school you choose can make a real difference.

We invite you to take some time to see what we believe in, see what we believe is important, and visit our school.

"We are about to send our third child to St. Thomas and couldn't be happier with the school.  We think of St. Thomas as family where our children have friends in every grade, mostly due to the "Book Buddy" program.  Respect, the importance of education, a strong sense of community, and the presence of God in our lives are all promoted throughout the school and in the classrooms.  The experience and education our children gain, while attending St. Thomas School, will always stay with them."
